Title: MC seems to turn volume to zero

Hi

If i am in MC Theatre View audio volume is fine. if i close MC and go to say Netflix or MS Films &TV the audio system volume seems to be set to zero.

any ideas?

MC will maximize the system volume if you have the "Maximize device volume during playback" option checked for your sound device.
And when you quit MC the volume will return to what it was before and if it was 0 before MC playback then it will be zero when you close it.
So check your system volume just before running MC and playing something and report back.

Make sure you stop playback in MC, not just pause it.  Or set audio to non exclusive in MC settings.
