Is there a way to adjust how far the video jumps on a mouse wheel scroll? Right now, scrolling one click moves 10 seconds, and I would like to shorten this so I can find something in a video.
Is this even possible, or does it have something to do with the key frames in the encoding?
Thanks!

We will make it an option.

That would be awesome! ;D TY!

Have you tried changing the value under "Options > General > Jump Behavior > Forwd/Backwd."? MC uses this value for jumps using the right/left arrow keys in the display window, so the number of scroll steps (a.k.a. 'lines') should have the same effect when hovering on the playback progress bar...

Can you please make it an option to disable the mouse wheel jump too?
I have a keyboard with a pretty small touchpad and very frequently I accidentaly hit the scroll field on the side of the touchpad and the video jumps all over the place.
I wouldn't want to disable the touchpad scrolling, because I use it in most other applications, including MC to scroll in Standard view.

I certainly can't (only a user ;-), so would recommend, while the video window is on top and you're watching, to handle your touchpad more carefully... ;-)

The question was directed to Yaobing :)
Yeah, I've been using this keyboard and trying to be more careful for many years, but I'm using it in the dark, lying in the sofa etc. and it just happens pretty frequently no matter how careful I am.

OK, I will add that option as well.

Thanks, Yaobing!
Years of annoyance finally over :D :D :D

Thanks for -finally- adding the disable wheel option.
