Title: Media Center Crashes after upgrade to 25
Post by: larryrup on September 13, 2019, 03:17:12 pm
Program starts and is visable for about 10 seconds, then disappears.  I tried rebooting.  I tried uninstalling v24.  I see in taskmanager, at first MC 25 Service was stopped, I started it from task mgr, and tried starting program again.  Task Manager shows MC25 service running, but program continues to start, and disappear about 10 seconds later.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot/fix?

Thanks

Larry

If you're running the latest version (25.0.100), that sounds just like what I experienced and reported in the release thread.  You might try .98 to see if that makes a difference:

Thanks for prompt reply.  I had installed.100.  I just uninstalled .100 and installed .98 and all is good!

I just installed 25.0.100 and am having the same issue, too: the program loads for about 10 seconds then crashes, even after a reboot. 98 still works fine.

Build 100 had problems.  Build 101 is fine.  It's at the top of this board.
