I am trying to setup a few views in theater view that aggregate content from a variety of sources including TV channels, movies, and web media. One problem I have at the moment is that I can't build a smartlist of content based on podcast names as it appears podcast isn't either a library field or media type or subtype.
Explicitly adding a URL to the smartlist is working for some podcasts but not others. In particular, I'm using URLs for youtube playlists generated by podsync, and these are the feeds that aren't showing. In standard view under podcasts I can see the video thumbnails, and the videos play fine but the feeds don't seem to be recognized as legitimate podcasts by JRiver. Is there a better way to approach this situation, or is it impossible to build a playlist of podcasts by their name? Finding podcasts, or video content that isn't hosted on youtube is pretty difficult at the moment so the easiest way to find my content is via podsync, and youtube.
