Title: JRiver won’t update

I use the 64 bit version of MC 25. 25.0.104.  I get prompted to upgrade.  When I  agree, the new version will get to 33% extraction, gets stuck there, and, after awhile, reports the update failed.  Same problem with 25.0.113x64 when I download it from this forum. I don't recall similar issues in the past. Any thoughts?

You could try using 7-zip to manually extract the files.  Then just run the installer from the extracted path.

We haven't had that problem much.  Are you running any security or virus software?

Yes, running Norton.  Been running it a lot longer than I have used Media Center, in fact, without prior incident of this nature.

Antivirus software can do that.  It's not unusual for it to reject one build.  I think they must be looking for patterns in software.
