My JRiver 25 stops playing !
It had been working until last week with no troiuble.
I have re-installed the software, but in vain.
Please check the logs of troubles to see the situation and find the cause.
I appreciate if you can advise me of solution.
Thanks a lot. :-[

What file format? FLAC?

I am not sure. maybe Apple Lossless or FLAC.
My major files are Apple losless, some are WAV.
After the iTune goes away, I have not rip with Apple lossless, taking FLAC in stead.
And now, I'm playing a WAV file.
Thanks.

any progress on this?
I'm having a similar problem playing ripped CDs, Windows 10 Pro (up to date) JR 25.110 with a 1 second buffer. Randomly it stops playing, sometimes plays a tone or noise for a second or two, and either recovers after a delay or needs to be restarted. Increasing buffer size helped. This dropout now is only once or twice an hour with the one second delay.
This behavior is new this year and has been going on that long. Could it be associated with those troublesome Windows10 updates earlier this year. Are there some priorities that need to be set somewhere in the OS?

Not experiencing any issues here with MC25 with the latest Windows 10. How is your media files stored? On the device itself (or on a hard drive), NAS, etc.? One thing you could try is enabling memory playback and see if that helps any. However, if you're already using memory playback, you might try disabling it and seeing if there's any difference.
Also, 24.0.114 is the latest version for Windows, I'd suggest upgrading to it. :)
