Title: Media Center Audio plays only for a few seconds

I am on a Mac mini running Version 10.15 of the OS and Media Center 25 version 108.  When I play audio file it starts playing for a number of seconds and then just stops altogether and never recovers.  This behavior is independent of which file I play.
