First of all... Yes, I did a normal install first and registered it and THEN installed the portable using that PC.
I haven't been able to use a portable installation with MC24 or MC25. I did change jobs, so is it possible corporate IT is block some feature of MC? All of my other portable apps work fine. Here's the last thing I posted:
And that is what I have done. I have the MC25 Master license and used it to register MC24. I then reran the install package and create a portable installation on a USB drive inserted in that same machine. That portable install shows as registered when opened on a machine with a registered copy of MC24 on it, but when I take that same USB drive to work where I don't have MC installed, MC24 portable shows as expired.

Is this a known issue? I haven't been able to get MC working as a portable install since I upgraded to a Master License for MC25. I've been using MC since version 10 or so and know how to install the portable version.
