Title: Importation non reconnue dans la médiathèque
Post by: gufau on October 22, 2019, 12:01:54 pm
Bonjour,

Guy

I have them in the files view but can not make them appear in movies and as it is this view that I use to manage my films: - [

I have to say that I am under w10 pro, that I have the latest version of JRiver, last maj, etc. and that this is the first time I am facing this kind of problem

Blu-rays? I assume you're using something like AnyDVD to remove the copy protection, right?

There must be a problem with my question, I can not get an answer. I tried on the forum in French, the same.
Tell me at least what's wrong, thank you

If I understand you correctly, you've ripped the blu-rays to a folder that MC is scanning but the files only show in the Files view in the Video section at left within MC. What format are these files in? Could it be that MC doesn't recognize that format as being a video? Have you tried ripping them to mkv?

Yes hello,

Thank you for the answer

Yes I copied 5 br of a GOT series. Of the 5 there are 2 that do not appear in the sub-section "Movies" of "Video".
The other 3 have appeared

The format I have BDMV, CERTIFICATE, FAB. All my br are on this model and match well in "movies"

I am not interested in mkv

I have them in the files view but can not make them appear in movies and as it is this view that I use to manage my films:
If you import a bunch of bluray rips they all show up as the the same thing unless you help MC distinguish them from each other.
You can use "Tag on Import" to add media subtypes or to parse the file name. Or you can use "fill properties from filename" after they have been imported. Or you can manually edit each rip after import.

Hello and thank you for the answer,

I am not familiar enough with the features of MC even though I like JRiver very much

So I am not able to fully understand your explanations ... nor what are the "tag on import, etc."
What I know is that I copied the discs in full with the software already mentioned and that I had 2 that did not appear in "movies", only in file.
I finally succeeded by going in "subtype of media> new subtype of media> new value> movie"
From there the rip appears well in "film"
I do not know if that corresponds to one of your explanations ...
