We know there are still problems that people have. It's at a low enough level that we believe a significant number are not MC bugs. But we know there are still bugs to fix. We're just down to those that are impossible for us to duplicate.
We will continue to look for these problems and put out new builds. The frequency will decrease, but I would expect one or two a week now.
So feel free to keep reminding us that Media Center could be better.
And thanks for all the past reminders. ::)

Hi Jim,
Go to Argentina for a month and come home to surprises!
Two things:
1. When I clicked on the new download link, I got ver 161 several times. When I went to the alternate links I got the correct version, however, the 169 version downloaded with iPod 15.
2. When I sort the focus does not hold if I go to another playlist and when I come back to the original list.
Thank you for your efforts.
John

I think it works lots better than MJ8, and with all the new options etc...
MC9 Wins hands down
JMPO (Just My Personal Opinion)
Sure There Are Bugs, But I Am Still Waiting On MS To Fix The Problem In Windows 3.1 And Large Scsi Drives (Some Day Soon I Hope).

More Importantly, When Will Microsoft Fix That Strange Bug Where Each Word In A Sentence Is Forced To Begin With An Upper-Case Letter?

Major problem in gold release...
DSP Studio is totally DEAD >:(
Nothing in it now works or does anything.
All my settings are stuck with the last DSP changes I had made before DSP went dead.
Has been like this for the last 2 or 3 versions. I had reported on this in version 168.

DSP Studio only processes files MC plays internally -- mp3, ogg, ape, mpc, wma, etc.
Also, some DSP's don't support all output formats. (i.e. 5.1 channel, 192 khz, etc.)

Thanks Matt;
That was really bugging me.
I was running 5.1 Channels.
Did a little test on DSP Studio Output Format & found the following...
* Source Number of Channels... DSP works ok.
* 2 Channel... DSP works ok.
* 4 Channel... DSP reverts to 2 Channel.
* 5.1 Channel... DSP does not work at all.
Sooo. why does DSP not support the 5.1 channels ?
