Title: Quantum Computing Breakthrough
Post by: JimH on October 27, 2019, 03:02:20 am
Google has just made a big breakthrough in quantum computing and techcrunch has a good article describing it:

Google proved that it is at least somewhat scaleable and that it is exponentially faster.

I read a book a year ago that explained quantum physics.  It was recommended by my nephew, Charles.  It's called "Teaching Quantum Physics to Your Dog".  It's very entertaining and led me to believe I might be able to understand quantum physics if I read it enough times.  Highly recommended.

I also recommend the space-based repetition course Quantum computing for the very curious (https://quantum.country/qcvc).
