Title: Problem displaying Chinese characters
Post by: fitbrit on October 30, 2019, 02:24:39 pm
Asking for someone I am trying to help.
When importing a Cue file with Chinese characters in each ape track, the result in MC is garbled - the characters are not Chinese.

The characters displayed fine in MC23.

The characters are fine in the actual Cue file.

The attachments show the Cue file and the resulting MC view.

There are many of these Cue files in the library, and they are all showing up like this. The original SSD containing the MC23 libraries died, so there's no back up of the info.

And what the Cue file contains.

The right fonts are installed on the system, of course.

Could you make the CUE and APE file available to me?  I'm matt at jriver.

Matt is pretty good at looking at APE problems!

Thanks.
