Just completed a different set up with a borrowed Mac mini as my server with connected USB 2TB HD full of FLACS.
This is connected to Mac via USB directely rather than my previous set up over the network.Mac upstairs with hifi downstairs all cabled/ethernet.
If I go with this setup I will just have a headless unit downstairs.
Is the Mac mini best bet for this or maybe a NUC via USB directly to the streamer.Second hand Mac minis are everywhere, I can get a 2012 i7 £150.
What would be your choice to help me decide what to buy ?
What about a Auralic Aries mini ?
