I have issues with High rez (>96 Khz) file Flac playing through DLNA on a USBridge Signature.
The music stops and starts again , as if there ware not enough flow rate on my gigabyte network ...
My config is MC25 running as server on an Intel Nuc I5 + 4To disk attached => RJ45 network => USBridge Sig => Amanero 384 DAC
Configuration tested on the USBridge sig:
=> Volumio = Plays flawlessly all Flac Files !
=> moOde audio = Problem with High rez flac
=> DietPI (DLNA Mode) = Problem with High rez flac
=> DietPi (JRiver installed) = Problem with High rez flac
The USBridge sig is based on Raspberry 3+ board, and the DLNA config on MC server is the same for the differents OS tested
I have run Whitebear tool (thanks to him) on volumio and moode audio version ...

The limit could be CPU on the Pi or network bandwidth. Bandwidth isn't what is advertised.
Volumio may be converting. MC can also do this under the DSP Studio > Output Settings.

The PI should have much enough CPU to play High rez files.
I suspect that my new USBridge sig Unit is deficient ....
Regarding MC configuration could you confirm to me that in order to have the DSP studio processing any convolution or Equalisation on MC server
to be "delivered" to a DLNA Renderer I have to select : Audio mode NOT to be Original.
As I can choose between two audio modes :"Specified Output Format " or "Specified Output Format Only when Necessary" could you tell me which
one is better ? (in order to achive the best audio quality)

I was trashed over this suggestion a few months. Now I think I'll just sit back and LOL.

Problem solved .. due to a bug in the balena software used for flashing the Raspi memory ...
