Title: [SOLVED] Can I do this? maybe with Zones?

I mainly watch Tv shows that are 5.1 Dolby Digital, and then I listen to music (2ch FLAC cd rips)... just looking for DSP when listening to music.

JRiver 26 on Win10 > HDMI to > Denon surround system > HDMI to > Sony Tv.

I want to keep bitstreaming ON for 5.1 Tv shows (no DSP), then when I listen to 2ch music switch to PCM and turn DSP on. Please, do not just tell me to turn bitstreaming off globally. I'm not looking for a discussion about bitstream vs PCM. I'm looking for a way to have MC switch between the two based on content (Tv or Music). Can it be done? Zones?

It can be done. I use Zoneswitch to automatically bitstream for ATMOS and DTS:X and PCM everything else. Unfortunately it is one of the features I read up on, implemented and then forgot. I think I only had to read the wikis on Zones and Zoneswitch to get it going.

Thanks, I did check the wiki on Zones, but it's like seven simplified bullet points... I could use a little more help than that... Guess I'll just start poking around and see what happens.
