As per title.
This would be very useful. Currently the only way of doing this for some drives is to close/open MC
-
I'll take it one step further and request an "autosync" by device MCC command. I use MC handhelds to sync my portable collection to a local directory with replaygain applied, which I then share via syncthing to all of my mobile devices. Being able to trigger an automatic sync would allow this to be automated.

Similar reason for my request :-)
Was surprised there's not a way of doing this already.
-
So MCC command 23015 works once when MC is open. You then have to restart MC for it to work again (i.e. subsequently running this command doesn't work).
It's easy to recreate -
(1) close MC
(2) make a change that a device needs to sync
(3) open MC
(4) run 23015 and it will sync the change
(5) Make another change the device needs to sync
(6) run 23015 again and nothing will happen
(7) Restart MC
(8 ) Run 23015 and it will sync the second change
Is this a bug?
-
You're right. It needs to invoke the same thing as the "Recheck Sync" button otherwise it just happily says there's nothing to sync. We'll try to address it for a coming build. Thanks.

Coming next build of MC26:
Changed: When MCC_HANDHELD_UPLOAD arrives, it will first recheck the sync (otherwise it would just sync nothing after changes).
Please let us know how it works once it's out. Thanks!
-
Thanks Matt - will do.
-
Can confirm this is now working - thanks Matt!

Thanks for letting us know.
