Title: Sound quality on Media Server clients like Denon AVR or Sony BluRau player

I have given up hope of achieveing very good quality sound useing JRiver Media Server with my Denon AVR or my Sony BluRay payer, which has HD Sound. I thought that was the purpose of Media Server, but frankly Pandora sounds better and have much more volume. Do I need to have a PC as a client, which is not possible for me. Any suggestions?

Check conversion settings on the server.
