Title: Roon -> JRiver -> Raspberry 4
Post by: MagnusH on December 28, 2019, 01:08:50 pm
I currently have this setup on my general purpose computer (Windows 10):
- Roon -> JRiver ASIO WDM -> JRiver MC -> ASIO driver -> RME ADI-2 DAC
In JRiver I use some VST plugins and SoX for up-sampling, and it works great.

However, today I bought an RPi 4, and now I would like to use it to get clear separation from the computer which I often work on (or play games) at the same time as I play music. I would prefer if the RPi 4 is console only to be able to SSH into it.

But how? What would be the optimal setup for sound quality?

If I only used Roon I would just install a Roon endpoint on the RPi and play to it, is there something similar in JRiver?

Or could this somehow be used in combination with HQPlayer on RPi?
