Title: Short Cut Selecting and editing columns in File View lost in MC23?

MC22 and previous versions would allow highlighting by dragging over a column in File View.  Entering a value in the top position would allow the filling of the remaining high lighted cells in the column.  I have not been able to perform this editing shortcut in MC23.  I have searched help without even finding reference to the editing shortcuts in MC22.  This shortcut is a great time saver.
Am I ignoring something in MC23

After making your selection, position the cursor on the column you wish to edit (within the selection), hold down the left mouse button, then, right click to open the first of the selection for editing. The committed edit will be applied to all selected files.
