Title: JRiver quits on my Mac computer after about 20 or 30 seconds

I installed the JRiver MediaCenter on my Windows computer and it is working fine. However, the version I installed on my Mac computer (operating system OS 10.8) quits about 20 to 30 seconds after it opens.

I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi Kim.

I think what might be happening is MC on your Mac is doing an auto-import and crashing on a particular file. If you can disable auto-import that will provide confirmation (as it will no longer crash). At that point, clear the log, start importing, and when it crashes again send the log to JRiver for analysis. But when you do that, start a new topic.
