Title: Video through HDMI and sound via DLNA
Post by: mousmée on January 07, 2020, 05:49:36 am
Hello,

I am facing a dilemma.

When trying to watch a movie from my HDD using JRiver MC24, I only get the image on my screen or the sound on my DNLA speakers (KEF LS50 Wireless). Is there a way to get the image and send it via HDMI to my beamer and play the soundtrack on the speakers in th mean time?

Thank you for your kind help.

Yes, you can. I have my audio and video both going through HDMI to my receiver, then my receiver's HDMI output to my screen. I use the receiver for audio. I'm not at home but once I get there I'll let you know exactly where to go set that up.
