I keep getting “critical error” window and music keeps pausing for a few seconds then starts up again not at the same time. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Latest build

Please provide more details. OS. Audio connection, devices, etc.

MC latest build, Windows 10 latest build, connected through HDMI to TV, separate HDMI to Marantz av7704; worked relatively fine before without these issues

Windows Defender may need to be configured. There is a thread here on it. Don't run any other AV software.
What kind of files are you playing?
Normally, you would connect PC > Receiver > TV. It can be done the way you're doing it, but it's not what I would recommend.

Since I have 2 hdmi outputs I use one for audio and one for video that stops the screen from going blank whenever I move he mouse worked fine for years

I couldn’t find those particular settings I use Malwarebytes anyway, when I turned that off and the firewall same nuts happens. After restarting again MC says it’s for another system after Reinstall again, seems ok after turning virus protection back on

Uninstall Malwarebytes and read the thread on Windows Defender.
