Title: Unable to import music from external drive [Solved]

New W10 laptop. Installed JRM 26. In options>file location>audio>audio rips pointed to D:\\music (my external drive). JRM tries to auto import, but comes back with 0 files. The light on my external drive doesn't blink when auto import is running, so I gather that it's not being accessed. I'm sure I'm missing some simple step. My previous setup worked for a decade + w/ out issue, so I stopped paying attention to the details LOL.

Also, in Audio, I have my Ayre qb9 listed as the device showing WASAPI. Might need guidance there also...

Stumbled into resolving the import issue. So far so good!

As you may have discovered, auto import needs to be configured.  It's under the Tools Menu.  It's documented on the wiki.
