Title: Handheld and CUE/MP3 sync problem
Post by: vaso65 on January 29, 2020, 11:43:39 am
Hi to all,

I have a problem I don't understand, maybe I'm wrong, but I don't know what.

I started to digitize my vinyls. For each vinyl I produce two .CUE and .MP3 files (the problem is the same if I use .OGG). I would not want to break the MP3 file into multiple files (one per song) because I would like to keep the spaces and sounds between the songs.

I import the .CUE file into MC and it is recognized regularly, it is also managed by the library without problems.

The problem is when I send the album to my handheld. I select all the songs on the album and send them to the device.
The sync ends correctly but on the device instead of being 2 files (CUE and MP3) there are as many MP3 files as there are songs and they are all the original size of the MP3 file.

In summary if I originally have the 100MB MP3 file and the CUE file that describes 15 tracks, on the device I have 15 100MB files (1.5 GB) without the .CUE file

How can you only bring the two main files to the device as MC uses them?

Best Regards
