Hi all, please help me. I have just bought the Motu M2 DAC, but cant make it work with MC.
please see the screenshots for windows, motu driver, and MC settings I have chosen.
The Motu M2 works with Itunes or Foobar2000 without any problems. what do I need to adjust to make it work with MC??
thanks!!!

You have another choice (ASIO). Did you try it?
Turn off all DSP in DSP Studio.
Does it work from Windows Control Panel > Sounds?
-
Yes, there is some white noise when using this one. the song is played, but very scrambled...
the Motu Manual suggests the 1-2 Motu M Series
-
With ASIO?
Did you turn off all DSP?
-
yes, same scrambled sound with ASIO and all DSP turned off, and the music player runs too fast.
-
thats the error message I get in MC when trying to play witn "1-2 Motu series" output. please see attachement
-
Try using DSP Studio > Output Settings to force everything to 48khz. Don't use any other DSP.
-
Well, unfortunately this does not work either :-/
-
Hi there, any suggestions on this? the DAC works fine with anything else than the MC...
-
Increase the buffer size - either in the driver, Media Center, or both.
Try DirectSound if that doesn't work.
-
Look under all your MOTU settings to ensure it is configured as the MASTER CLOCK. Make sure it is not looking for CLOCK signal elsewhere in your audio chain.

Hi there, thanks a lot RD James, the "out 1-2 ... direct sound" did work!! :-D
