Title: Selecting Music
Post by: Paul _Graham on February 05, 2020, 09:11:56 am
I'm thinking of purchasing version 26....years ago (version 14?) I could click on the name of the artist, and all of their music in my library would appear. Same with genre....On later versions, this feature seems to have gone.....is this feature on the new 26?

Artists should be a standard view in the left hand Pane

Mine is so customized I don’t know if it’s missing

Search the Wiki for Views ,you can literally roll your own by selecting rules

Simply , right click the tree in the LH pane and add Custom View , Add Artist And go but you can do so much more

Check that the "linkable columns" option is enabled (you can search in the options window).
Then there should be an arrow in columns such as "album" or "artist" that you can click to search for them in the current view. Middle click will open them in a new tab.
