Hello! So to make it easy to share photos to other users, I configured JRiver to import some photo libraries. I wanted to filter some photos by lens, only to find that a large number of photos don't have lens information because it's stored in Maker Notes instead of basic EXIF. I'll include an example EXIF below, but... long story short, I've gone through the auto-import options and can't find if I can import anything beyond basic EXIF information. Is this possible? Thanks!
Example EXIF (lens data in red is not visible in JRiver):

Could you email me a sample image? I'm matt at jriver. The lens is showing on all my latest pictures, but you probably found a hole in our code. Thanks.

Done, and thanks very much for the quick response!

Hi again,
Unfortunately, the fix in build 23 doesn't appear to have worked... I've attached the criteria I'm using in a Images view, and you'll see the Lens area is only showing All and Unassigned (like it can't read the makernote data in EXIF).
I did perform a re-import using the default Auto-Import settings, and just to see if it mattered I forced a second import and used "Apply these tags": "Lens: [Lens]" in case JRiver needed to force the EXIF data to be imported for some reason.
Any ideas? If you would like additional sample photos, I've got a ton. Thanks!

The fix I made was specific to Panasonic cameras. I see that yours are Panasonic. We did get Lens from the sample image you provided, which was taken with camera "Panasonic DC-GH5."
"Apply these tags" is used to override values from the images, so it should not be used in this situation.
The easiest way of forcing MC to re-load tag values from files is to use Library Tools > Update library (from tags).

Not sure why, but I ended up having to rebuild the library to get the lens data to be visible... but it works great now! Thanks very much for your assistance with this.
