Due to the issues wrt. importing file dates I've been trying to find a method to restore the IPTC/XMP dates, see below:
The date import seems to have improved (13. Fixed: The Date field could be wrong upon importing some images.). However, when I did a reimport of 1000 photos with garbled dates, 500 came out wrong.
[snip]
Summary:
o "Date/Time original" (EXIF) is correct
o "Date Created" (IPTC) is incorrect
o "Date Created" (XMP) is incorrect
o "Create Date" (XMP) is correct

I was surprised to see that when i change the Date field in MC, the IPTC/XMP date/times are changed in the file. I've verified this in Geosetter and it seems to be working.
Is this new functionality?
Has anybody tested this extensively?
