With reference to a query I raised many months ago, would it really be so difficult to offer an option which, when serving an audio URL of zero or otherwise indeterminate duration to a DLNA client, lied to the client and substituted a finite value of, say, 6 hours?
This is because of some kind of oversight within the client software (a Roberts radio) which appears to dislike source streams of non-finite or undefined duration. At the moment I have to use Wild Media Server to overcome this issue but if this wish was granted I could move my entire media handling world into the JRiver space ;)

May I please bump your attention to the following long-standing query to which nobody has given any response. Is my request really that difficult to implement? There must be thousands of simple radios out there incorporating a 'media player' that would suddenly become rather more useful were my suggestion taken up. Thanks.
