Title: Test version with Onkyo TX-8130
Post by: debianite on February 16, 2020, 11:43:00 am
Hi guys!

Just stumbled accross this fine piece of software. Love it dearly, but have two issues before purchasing it:

I'm using it as a control point between my QNAP-NAS and an Onkyo-player TX-8130. Sometimes the playlist stops and I had to restart it by hand (maybe it's because I'm playing Flac-files?).

As I'm an oldfashioned, I'm listening to a lot of operas. Therefore it would be interesting to know, if gapless playing is supported?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

Peter

Download the DMRA from my sig, and run the test of the receiver; the renderer report will tell you if it supports gapless (look for SetNext.. support).

My TX R 8800 wasn’t gapless even when driven DLNA from MC which is gapless

@AndrewFG

Thank you so much, your tool was a great help. Now everything works flawlessly. Wanted to donate a small amount - but I it didin't work...

So I purchased a full license now :-).
