Title: Tags are not read correctly after Windows 10 update
Post by: jdesroch on February 17, 2020, 02:19:33 pm
Hi

I have been ripping CD's with DbPowerAmp and importing these RIP's in MC 24 successfully on a Windows 7 machine for years. I have upgraded to Windows 10 and When I RIP with DbPowerAmp and import in MC (all import settings kept the same) - the import is "crooked"... a lot of files are unassigned even if DbPowerAmp has done a good job tagging the audio files ( which are AIFF by the way.) I can check that the metadata is good with Windows Explorer.

An example would be a CD with 10 tracks - Tracks 1,2,3,6,7,8,10 are tagged OK but the remaining tracks have missing tags... showing that MC seems to skip tags from DbPowerAmp...

Any ideas, anyone ?

Thanks,

I have no idea if it will keep happening.  But if you use our latest build and it still does, we'll be happy to fix it.

Thanks.
