Hi to all!!
I have a master license for JRiver and after updating to mc26 whenever I try to update I get the message that there was a problem with the updates and it’s impossible.
My Mac (quite old late 2009 Mac mini ssd/8GB ram) is on Ethernet connection and all the other programs seem to have no problem with the internet.
I had the same issue with mc25.
Any tips?

Could be a firewall problem.
-
What macOS version is it running?
-
Same thing here…
No firewall, MacOs 10.14.6, MediaCenter 26.0.22.
No problem updating MediaCenter 25 up to 25.0.128.
-
Could you try again?
-
What macOS version is it running?
MacOS El Capitan
No Firewall
Thank you!
EDIT: rechecked after my reply and it seems OK now! Thanks!!!
-
Well it seems that the problem is not solved!
I don't get a "there is a problem ..." message but it doesn't update from 26.0.22 to 26.026!
I get "mc26.0.22 is up to date"
The "latest" in update channel is checked!

Try downloading the latest version of MC26 from the first post (top thread) and try installing it manually. That should work.
-
Yeah, it probably hasn't been added to the latest channel yet.

yes this will work but I do not want to do this every time a new version is out!
thank you!

Oh OK! I will wait then!! Thank you!!

They probably purposely don't add new builds to the update channels until it's been tested a little so no broken builds make it to the update server.
