Title: Handheld Sync: syncing 2-3 devices concurrently
Post by: d_pert on February 21, 2020, 01:31:50 pm
I use Handheld Sync to prepare three HDD folders (like "devices") to be copied over to one USB stick which I use in my car. I manually Sync all three with up to six files being processed at once: I do the first job, then the next, etc.

If I try to Sync two or three concurrently, separate multi-file encoding operations run at the same time, and things almost grind to a halt. It works in the end, but it ain't pretty.  :o

Would it be possible for MC to better manage how a Sync is handled when another Sync is already running?

E.g. -- If one Sync is already started, could MC just "queue" the next sync to run after already-running one(s) are complete? That way user could click Sync on multiple "devices" -- they'd all take place one after the other until the last is complete.

Thank you.
