I'm curious to learn what will happen to the pace of development after release of MC9.0. How often do you anticipate updates and new features will be released?
It's been a fun six months for me (I started beta testing in Novemeber), and I wonder if it'll continue...

If I remember correctly they go on diet for a few weeks ... a diet consisting of vodka martinis and beer and beef jerky. Then there's the headache hiatus. And then the work on the next version starts. At least that's what I remember from between version 8 and 9. But this has been a bigger release (I would say that the function increase from 7-8 was less than from 8-9, at least from where I'm sitting (which is the head (listening to Soundtrack of Lord of the Rings on WC))) so maybe this will demand a few extra weeks on Hawaii or something. ;) ;D

Hi,
Don't worry sraymond, after beta testing we'll go gamma testing !!! :)
If it's the same as with MJ7.0 - 7.2 and MJ8.0 new builds will come again after the Minneapolis gang has had a well deserved break and some cool drinks.
New builds will keep the fun alive among the interacters !

They still have a lot to do:
-Put an eject CD buton
-Make bios in track infos something we can use
-to have cd playing as fast than with other programs ,and not refreshing view for ages
- to have YABD telling you his find and NOT updating tags on the spot
- to make a art sleeve based visu like in MJ7
- to put back the Bambou skin
Kind of to make a race car as cosy as a Mercedes car.
But first they will have a drink ,maybe live on weeb cam and you will get some pictures of the celebration.
Like it you will put an image on the names on his forum.
Anyway many cool things from this very cool gang
But the very true is that they will start to work on a Linux version : they send the bicker in South Pole to learn about pinguins...this was the start of they next project

They never stop, they never sleep, they just keep right on working ;D
I think they are still doing releases on version 8.
