Title: Aurender A10 - can I control from JRiver?

I'd like to upgrade my audio quality (hopefully) by retiring my generic linux laptop and using a dedicated streamer. Ideally I'd control the streamer from a remote windows computer using jriver MC. Has anyone had success operating an Aurender A10 with JRiver? Native control for the aurender is via IPAD, and I'm not interested in going Apple.

Ideally JRiver will be my library- playlists, start/stop, etc. I've got a preamp/remote that I use for volume control.
