Title: JRiver on Android and NAS
Post by: debianite on March 09, 2020, 11:11:10 am
Hi!

I've just purchased the JRiver app, as I'm a huge fan of JRiver MC. I installed it under Android 9.0 on my Cat S52 mobile phone.

As I can't sort it out: can I play with the JRiver app also files located on my NAS? The app itself does not show me the NAS and I don't know, how to connect it. Or is this still in development?

Many thanks for your help!!!

Cheers,

Peter

You can load a remote MC library, but I don't believe you can import from a remote drive.

Importing files from a NAS is still in development.
Is there a rough ETA for this capability?

Was hoping to retire a Windows PC and use a cheap-ish Android box to play music to my receiver.

Thanks!

There is no ETA yet. The work has been started, but it's on hold for some other important fixes for now.
