I've noticed that with some window sizes 1px white gaps appear in the 'Modern Cards: Grey' skin on the right side of the track progress bar and on the right of the (right) spectrum analyzer. See screenshot.
It's not very important but would be nice to have them disappear.
-
I've been seeing 1px white lines all over any of the dark skins ever since Catalina support. Mouse-over most any text in the UI and these white lines appear and disappear as i navigate. I'm currently running MC 26.0.29 on Mac Mojave OS 10.14.6.
-
What skin size(s) are you using?
-
These…
-
No, I mean in MC itself. View > Size menu.
-
Ah okay, I see these gaps at 100%, 90% 110% and maybe even more.
-
I see the lines at all screen sizes. When I uncheck View > Size > Retina Mode, however, the tracing lines do not happen.
-
I discovered a weird glitch with our retina monitor.
If I set the resolution to 1080p vs 1920x1080 which should be the same, one had the glitch, the other did not.
You might try that.
Also, it seems like the build I cut recently doesn't have that issue. I'll be uploading it after a bit more testing.
-
Hi @Bob, where does one set this resolution? Would be great if the next build would fix this. Thanks for your time! Jan

I just did it in system preferences->display on the Mac.
Yours may differ. I noticed that on my 2014 macbook pro one can't set an even interval scaling factor.
-
Hi @Bob, I don't have that setting in system prefs but thanks for showing me where it could have been.

I think that's a good hint as to what's going on. Will check into that...

Hi @Bob, now we're talking about UI glitches, could you find time to have a look at this bug from MC25?
It's cumbersome to resize MC or place the miniplayer anywhere on the screen.
Thanks for considering, Jan

Are you mixing retina and non-retina displays?
-
Are you using an ultrawide monitor/screen resolution?
-
I'm not sure what are the specs for true retina.
I have a Macbook Pro 15" (mid-2015) with a 15,4-inch (2880 x 1800) screen and a DELL P2715Q Display 27-inch (3840 x 2160).
They are both running on a AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 GB graphics card.
The Dell doesn't have as high a resolution as the MBP but goes over the counter as a HiRes display. But the pixel density is definitely lower on the DELL than on the MBP.
And no… not ultrawide.

My display on our Mac Mini is nearly identical to your Dell. It's definitely a retina scale display because you can set those parameters in System Preferences. I'm assume your internal one is as well. This issue might be a result of the different resolutions of the two displays (the flaky placement). Check my attachment for the scaling settings...

I've set the settings for the DELL as you described in your screenshot but I'm sorry to say that this doesn't change the behaviour while placing the miniplayer in the upper part of the screen of my Macbook Pro. When I get to the upper part of the screen it reverses the direction as shown in the screen recording that I posted in the MC25 thread. It's a weird bug. I can't wrap my head around it.

That won't fix any positioning issues, it was in reference to the lines glitch in the UI
We'll need to try to setup a system similar to yours with mixed size monitors to see if we can duplicate the positioning glitch.
-
Ah okay, that's what you get when you input another issue in a thread ;-) Sorry for that.
It would be great if you could have a look at the positioning issues with various display sizes. Thanks in advance!
