Title: Bought MC26 in 2019 - Today receive message about trial ending??

I bought MC26 probably on Nov 30, 2019, at least that is when I received an email with my Windows license.  I cannot remember when I installed MC26, but I remember searching for that email with my registration code.  I used MC26 for a while then stopped using it because I got involved in other things.  Today when I started MC26, I received a message stating the trial period had ended.  There was an option to restore my license, which I did.  Why did I get the message about the trial period ending when I had already registered when I installed it; probably in Dec?  Did I do something wrong during the installation or was there another step I missed?  I've read a few articles about registration and don't see anything that I may not have done.

There was a one time relicense if you updated.
