Title: MCWS: playback/position endpoint ignores "relative" flag on remote zones
Post by: DrKNo on March 30, 2020, 10:45:30 am
I posted here last week: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,124640.msg862966.html#msg862966
But i misidentified the problem. Thanks to the input of Matt and Hendrik, I was able to narrow it down, but lost visibility, probably because of the incorrect attribution of the error.

So, here in correct form:
Using the playback/position endpoint with the "relative" flag set does not work on remote zones for some reason, where the relative flag is ignored. This happens for both JRiver zones (on Raspberry PI) and generic DLNA (Kodi on Raspberry Pi). This leads to playback on remote zones always being set to the given position instead of seeking (which might be negative, resulting in playback from zero ms).

Thanks for the information.  Next build will have:
Fixed: Seeking with the MCWS function Playback/Position would not work properly with remote zones.

Works on all endpoints I was able to test. Thanks again! Much appreciated.
