I, like most folk, have many duplicate songs on my disc, and in my case, often in different formats/qualities (I'm working on this). I use various Smartlists to select stuff I want to listen to and one feature that I really like is the 'Remove duplicates' option.
Is there any way that 'remove duplicates' could be supplemented by a 'keep lowest/smallest' or 'keep best/largest' option (or similar).
If I have, say, an mp3 and an aiff version of a track, I'd like to keep the aiff version and dump the mp3 duplicate.
Just a thought...

You could edit the smartlist to always show the highest bitrate first:
[Media Type]=[audio] ~dup=[artist],[name] ~sort=[Artist],[Name],[Bitrate]-d

Yeah, but what I was hoping for was in the Smartlist 'Modifiers' you can add a 'remove duplicates of' which automatically squishes any duplicates of the requested tag/category.
It was here that I was hoping we could get a 'Keep highest' or 'keep lowest' bitrate/quality option or something of that sort
