Title: Cannot plat HiRes Flac on Android Device
Post by: Maltsters on April 02, 2020, 04:48:20 am
I have JRiver MC 25 running on a Windows 10 virtual machine. I connect to this using JRemote2 on an Android Device (Lenovo Tab 4) and the music is played through a my Android device using a bluetooth connection with my speakers. Standard 44.1KHz FLAC play fine, DSD is transcoded and plays fine but I cannot get HiRes FLAC to play at all - just get a hissing noise as far as I can tell, it isn't being transcoded at all. I have also tried using Gizmo and have the same issue.

I have configured output sample rates for the hi-Res formats in MC (i.e. under Options, Audio, DSP & output format) to output at 44.1 or 48 kHz depending on the Input format but still cant play them.

Under Media network, Audio Conversion, I have set to "Convert Audio if necessary"

Is there something obvious I have not done? or is this something that cannot be done?
