Title: DSD Transcoding
Post by: PPMPPM on April 02, 2020, 05:38:12 am
I've simple question and i can't find answer on forum or wiki.
I've large collection of DSD compressed DST files (by Philips), but I need uncompressed DSF files. So, MC to transcode from DFF to DST do it in 1-bit domain (DSD) or in PCM 64bit domain? It's transcoding or decoding/encoding operation? I only want do decode DST compressed files to DSF uncompressed, without unnecesary conversion.

Any DSD conversion in Media Center goes through the PCM domain.

Take a look at Vinyl Studio. I think it will do that conversion for you.  It has a free trial. Great piece of software.
