Title: Feature Request: Display Chapter when Chapter changed during video playback
Post by: wer on April 12, 2020, 05:02:09 pm
It would be really nice if (at least optionally) when viewing a video in Theater View and the user changes the chapter using a remote (with Next/Previous, a hotkey, or an MCC command) if the OSD would briefly display the new chapter title.

Currently there is no feedback, so you don't know what chapter you've actually selected after hitting the "next chapter" button 5 times.

The only way to know is to enter the OSD, arrow around to the chapter selection, and then change it.  That's a lot of extra button presses.

The OSD timeline pops up if you use the left/right arrows to move through the video without raising the OSD first, so why not for chapters?

It's a good idea.  I'll hook it up for the next build.  Thanks!
