drop and drag not working...flac dwnlds in c disk...they open in expl ..then seen in player or now playing...if i close expl...no playback...i know its simple...its very hard to keep going in circles....1 or 2 songs get in cd play...i have 7 lps..

Have you simply asked MC to "Import" them? There are several ways.

well each song is in list in explorer top left ..open media file??

ok...got it to work on import play list....cant find other zip files...thanks...

dont know how it turned into playlist???only by mistake???well 1 a week aint bad....still trying

Start with File > Library > Import and go to either "Import a single folder" or "Configure Auto-import."
You can also drag the files into the "Play Doctor" window in the "Playing Now" screen and choose one of choices in the pop-up window: Play, Import, Add to Playing Now.

these are zip downloads...in c drive...i tried drop in play doc...nothing happened.....ill try import 1 file....thanks you for help....stay well...

open import single ..its just opens list of songs...not the zip file.....

Bryant - I'm kind of guessing that you have "Enabled Shell Integration" in MC and Windows Explorer is "Wrongly informing you that MC can play Zip Files"; it will also wrongly inform you that MC can also "Play It's Own Install File".
For MC to be able to see, play and import the Flac files within held in a Zip File you have to Extract those files to a Folder, once you have done that MC will be able to play and import the files from that folder.

when open single imp file ...i cant see down loads in c drive...where they are.. i. start import..it starts import what i have already....it has impoted 2 more of the flac zips im trying.....but i delete ..6 others i have???...so im not doing.....sorry im really trying....there to many other...columns of info thats confusing me....thx,,,,

well ive made progress...its starting to work....i export to downs....then plays in jr...imports as plays....then its there....cant seem to get whole file to import at once....thank you gentlemen for assisting me in building my confidence.....just got new update ...i almost went to different system....im feeling better....im just a simple new page guy....ill turn now...peace.....

well i went and cleared out alot of extra files that were tried before...redone all zip flac files....they are in c drive as zip...in music drive...they are listed as song titles with covers...thumbnails....i play songs in order ,,,import....so now...is it possible to make them into like my ripped cd files....these aren't listed in artist name....is this cause of zip file....this little step...is so helpfull to me....im a bit winded.....peace..
