Title: Ghost channels in Guide after ATSC Rescan [Solved]
Post by: DeaneG on May 09, 2020, 02:46:45 pm
After a recent ATSC rescan, and disabling a few extra channels, my guide data shows a few channels at the bottom of the guide that do not have associated channels. They show up in theater mode at the bottom of the guide, displaying program info but no channel number at the left side. Is there a cache that I need to clear somewhere? Or do I need to delete the EPG data and start fresh?

Most likely these are programs that were associated with deleted channels.  These programs will eventually (after a few days - depending on how many days of guide data you normally get) go away because MC automatically remove programs that are stale.

Thanks!  If nothing needs to be done, I am skilled at doing exactly that.

Let us know if you still see those things after a couple of weeks (when all previously loaded guide entries expire).

They fixed themselves after two weeks, looks like you were right, thank you.
