Good morning all,
I am hoping someone can help get me going with 26. I just installed it and my network is no longer visible to my receiver. I have rebooted my computer and router. I had prevoiusly named the jriver server "My Music" but since the upgrade it is nowhere to be found. Can someone please help me troubleshoot. Thanks very much.

Is there phone number I could call perhaps? At this point I'm willing to pay for support. I just need somebody to walk me through troubleshooting this.

I think you need to be a bit more specific about what is happening, what do you mean by your network is no longer visible to your receiver. Some information like what your operating system is, what is the receiver exactly? Do you mean that you have a dlna device which can no longer see your JRiver library on your local network. Check first in tools>options>media network : is Use Media Network to share this library checked?
In tools>options>General>Features - is Media Network (Library Server, DLNA etc) checked?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, here is a bit more info. My operating system is windows 10, 64 bit. The reciever is a Yamaha 3060. Yes the yamaha can no longer see the dlna server.

In the MC standard view top left - is your receiver shown as a zone to play to

You should remove the image which shows your media library access key - just in case.

Is your receiver picking up the library? I am not sure what stage we are at here!

living room is listed in the list.

Is living room the zone name for your Yahama Receiver? If yes, try selecting it and play a file to it from your MC library - - -does that work?

You seem to have 3 media servers set up im JRiverMC
1 Generic DLNA Server
2 Desert1
3 Earlt
You need to go int tools>options>Media Network>Addor Comfigure DLNA Servers and sort out what you want each one to do by specifying the audio mode to be output etc. The Generic one is automatically set up for mp3 output. By the way it is rather difficult to see what is going on when you use an upside down image. The eath server you mention is actually called earlt. I hope you will be able to work things out from here in. Good luck.

Yes the yamaha is living room.
The generic DLNA server is the one that was missing. It's shows up then it disappears from the menu again. That network shows the album art. The other network that seems to pull from the same server only displays the file type (WAV, MP3) That is the earlh server: Very strange....

BigSpider - I'm back listening to tunes once again! Can't thank you enough. When I installed 26, it just put an additional icon on my desktop. I can take the JRiver 22 icon and dump it to trash and delete?

Yes, I feel privileged for sure. And I really appreciate everyone's help. Now If only I can figure out why the Generic DLNA server keeps disappearing from the network I would be golden. Seroiusly this is driving me batty...
No internet comes in through the wall behind my TV I I have Cox cable with a netgear router. The yamaha 3060 is hardwired to the router with an ethernet cable. The PC where my music resides is on the second floor with a wirless connection. The generic DLNA server just is not stable, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. I rebooted the cox cable modem and the netgear router. But it just looks like the picture I posted above minus the DLNA server..........I'm fustrated at this point.
Is it my router? The internet works fine otherwise...
I don't think it's the yamaha 3060..
I don't think it's the computer.. It's a Lenovo intel core i3 4170 with 4 GB ram
Is it a configuration issue? I don't know...
But when I tried to play music from the earlh server the music drops out.
Do I just not have good luck with JRiver? I dunno.... I'm certainly not using this software to it's capabilities but I just want to be able to play my music...

I don't know what insider builds is. I just bought a lenovo desktop PC with windows 10 already installed.

Things seems to have settled in. No problems for the last two days. My network server is showing up fine on my Yamaha 3060 and everything sounds good. I changed the output to PCM so I am getting the highest resolution possible. I am just curoius. I know I don't use JRiver to it's fullest capability, but are there any other adjustments I can make to improve sound quality anymore than what it is? I see things like PEQ adjustments and so on, so I was just wondering. Also, I am assuming the sound quality has not changed from JRiver 22 to 26, since it already sounded good?
