I’ve dropped an MC26 shortcut in the Windows startup folder of a headless pc. But it gets up to all sorts of mischief. It drops its network connection.
When I access it by remote connection it’s not running. When I try to start it, it says it’s already running but it’s not in the task list, and so forth.
Anyone have any idea what is going on ? Thanks, Pete

Have you set MC to startup automatically in tools>options>startup? If so you will get the conflict you describe. If you haven't set that up, then set it the way you want and get rid of the startup folder shortcut.

That seems to have worked out splendidly, thank you!
