I have a few DSD 256 album's.
- One of the DAC's I have is cable to do with DSD bitstreaming on
The other DAC play's DSD 64 fine but can not play DSD 256 and in MC its seems not possible to convert DSD 256 to PCM or DSD 64 on the fly if bitstreaming is on. Is there any way to configure MC to play DSD 256 if bitstreaming is on and the DAC is not capable to play DSD256 over DoP?
One solution is to have also DSD64 version of the album.

If I understand you correctly, you want to bitstream DSD to the highest DSD level your DAC supports? If so, select the Custom bitstreaming option, and when the dialog pops up select DSD and you can limit the level MC bitstreams DSD. For example, the Up to DSD64 option will bitstream DSD64 files, but anything higher like DSD128 it'll convert to PCM on-the-fly (since in that kind of case, the DAC only supports DSD64).

Thank you Awesome Donkey!
That was the trick to do it with the custom bitstreaming option. Works!
