I have recently bought a couple of films and TV shows for streaming via Google Play/YouTube. While not essential, I feel like it'd be really cool if I could add the URL's to my MC library. I don't expect them to play inside MC; it would just be nice to assemble them in MC (the centralised location) with definable metadata/sorting (like particles), where executing them simply opens the system's default browser or, in the case of JRiver for Android or JRemote2, the corresponding app to navigate to said URL.
Could this be done?
Trying to have MC grab each given video link via YouTube under the Streaming section doesn't work because Google flags MC's browser as being unsecure when trying to log in to my Google account with it—meaning I can't access my purchases. This happens regardless of engine.

A thought?

I think thats already possible ... MC launching external app ... never done it before ... but i recall seeing in this forum ppl launching game emulators from MC
