Hi guys,
I just tried to install a VST plugin with the JRiver Media Center Plug-in Manager. However, it didn't work. The VST plugin that I tried to install is the SPAN spectral analyzer by Voxengo. The file name and extension is SPAN.dll. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? The file is in the VST3 format.
Cheers, JKatzer

MC supports VST2 but not VST3 format plugins https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/DSP (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/DSP)

Install the VST2 version, Voxengo includes one for all their plugins. Make sure to also pick the appropriate bitdepth. 32-bit Media Center needs a 32-bit VST plugin, and vice-versa for 64-bit.
